 Canned vegetables aim at overseas tastes.

Canned vegetable is one of the main ways of vegetable export in China. Recently, the Shanghai Vegetable Economic Research Institute published an analysis of the development trend of China's main vegetable export market in 2007, thus outlining the status of China's main vegetable export market in 2007.
East Asia and Southeast Asia Trade Circle: export main market, but growth is more difficult.
China's vegetable export market in Asia has always maintained a strong comparative advantage, but the absolute advantage is declining, and the surrounding market competition is strengthened. As the main market of vegetable export in China, East Asia and Southeast Asia trade circle has seen a slow growth in vegetable demand since 1990, with an average annual growth of 2% and a slow growth in production, averaging about 1.7% a year. China's share of vegetable trade in this trade circle has been increasing. The export of vegetables in the region has increased considerably.
EU Trade Circle: key development market
The EU trade circle will become a key market for China's vegetable exports in the coming years. China's total trade in this market will continue to increase. Mushroom cans will be the main trade varieties. The market structure will remain stable, and export trade will be strengthened. In terms of total trade, EU trade circle has always been an auxiliary market for China's vegetable exports, but the amount of exports has been rising, and the share of exports has increased slightly. According to the data provided by the United Nations Statistics Division, the total export volume has increased by 9% from 1996 to now.
From the market distribution point of view, the main export market structure of canned vegetables in China is relatively stable, the distribution is relatively scattered. At present, China has exports to all countries in this trade circle.
North American Trade Circle: steadily developing market
The North American trade circle will become a steadily developing market for China's vegetable canned exports in the coming years. The total trade volume of China in this market will increase steadily. The market distribution will be concentrated in the Caribbean countries and regions such as the United States, and the bilateral trade with Mexico and other Central American countries will be strengthened. At present, the volume of vegetables in the main vegetable exporting countries in this region is less than 5% of their imports, so there is a huge potential for the export of canned vegetables in this region.
CIS trade circle: maintaining development market
The CIS trade circle is a typical vegetable import market. It will become a sustained and developing market for China's vegetable canned exports in the coming years. China's total trade in this market will grow steadily. The market is concentrated in Russian Federation and Ukraine, and bilateral trade with other countries will be strengthened.  However, from the trend analysis in recent years, the growth of vegetable demand is slow, and the recovery of production is fast. Overall, the shortage of vegetable supply and demand will be maintained at about 2 million tons. Therefore, although China has a comparative advantage in the export of canned vegetables in this region, the potential market space in this region is limited because of the absolute quantity is small.
