Experts explain that the biggest problem for preserving fruits and vegetables is that they are usually oxidized, and the process of oxidation destroys the beneficial substances, and the unsuitable temperature will make the process more serious, such as the fresh fruit containing vitamin C, which will soon lose its beneficial ingredients in a warm environment. In this respect, canned foods do not contain important elements in fresh fruits and vegetables, but their nutrients are not lost due to oxidation.

 

Experts stress that although canned foods are heated, they do not affect the beneficial ingredients, such as vitamins K, E, A and D.
