Ningbo Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has detected citrus yellow pigment banned from pineapple tins imported from Indonesia. The entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Guangdong and Ningbo has already returned or destroyed the above products according to law.

Since the first half of this year, 121 batches of food products, including aquatic products, palm oil, coconut oil, cocoa beans, coffee beans, biscuits and canned goods, have been detected by Entry-Exit Inspection and quarantine organs in Indonesia, including drug residues, food additives exceeding the standards and harmful organisms, according to the relevant person in charge of the State Administration of Quality and Inspection. All health problems were dealt with in accordance with the law. The General Administration of Quality Supervision and Inspection (AQSIQ) is organizing experts to assess the safety of Indonesian food exported to China and will take further measures based on the assessment results.
