This is the best time of the year - back to the school season! This is a critical moment. Children should have lunch and snacks, so that they can be energetic and prepare for their studies. Here are some simple and creative tips to pack healthy lunches that your kids will love.
Alpha 1
It's all about the demo. Give them the fuel they need, but simply make lunch fun by adding color and texture. For example, put seedless Sunbutter (made from sunflower seeds) on 100% slices of whole wheat bread and sprinkle slices of grapes. Tightly curled like a sushi, sliced into thick slices. Provide a full lunch with plenty of boiled eggs or other healthy snacks.
Alpha 2
Demonstrate a green act for your children by investing in a reusable set of service containers to accommodate sandwiches / packages, dipping points, fruit and vegetables (all forms can be counted). Don't forget to use vacuum flask to pack low sodium canned soup or leftovers.
Alpha 3
Rely on nutrition and delicious canned protein together for quick and delicious lunches. Add the drained and rinsed beans to the salad to get extra fiber. Fold canned tuna, chicken or salmon into whole wheat corn cakes to make delicious packaging. Instead of potato chips, consider baked canned chickpeas as a healthy and satisfying snack.
Alpha 4
Branching out from the traditional P& J to explore creative finger foods. Do you know that every day there are two piles of chickpeas that allow the US Department of agriculture to recommend 1 to 1/2 cups per week? Try to use biscuits, pita and carrots to see what they are thinking.
Alpha 5
For many children, there is no food for dessert, and most children like fruit. Canned fruit in natural fruit juice is a delicious lunch box. As a reward, no skinning or slicing is needed. Canned fruits retain their colors instead of browning, which may make them more attractive to children.
Whether it's a lunch lunch or a cafeteria, children need a variety of foods, especially nutritious fruits, vegetables and lean meat protein to make sure they have the energy and attention they need to learn. And adding a little fun to their lunch time is no harm.
