Scientific cultivation of edible mushroom packaging

Yesterday, the IC-AR Research Center in the NEH area of Manipur Center completed a three-day training program for mushrooms in scientific cultivation.

The training program was co-sponsored by the Mushroom Center (DMR) in June. It is the national government agency for mushroom research and development.

Dr. Anupam Barh, a scientist from ICAR DMR, Salon, and HP represent the Mushroom Council in the training program.

A total of 59 participants, including farmers, women, rural youth and entrepreneurs, participated in the training programme.

The project is aimed at potential mushroom growers from remote areas and villages.

The training program is made up of farmers in the Chandel District, and the village of Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan is located in the border areas such as Burma, such as the new surol, Sajik Tampak, Chakpikarong, Lembung village, and the region of the Tamenglong region, namely Gaidimjang, Rongdai, and Thanigon. Hut.

Some farmers from ihar West and East, Vishnu bull and Tubal also took part.

The training course includes theoretical and hands-on courses, aiming at cultivating and improving the skills of mushroom growers.

The training attempts to cover a wide range of topics, from the nutritional value and medicinal value of mushrooms to the increase of mushroom value.

For the first time, the knowledge of new technology was developed in the ICER, the center of the University, and the buttons, letinous edodes and milk mushrooms were imparted to farmers.

The participants introduced and interacted with Sh Ibohal Sharma. A progressive farmer also shared his experience and efforts.

In the feedback process, they expressed their appreciation for the training program and trainers, and began the motive of mushroom cultivation.
