From January to May this year, Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, exported 442 batches and 10 157.20 tons of various types of canned goods with a total value of 11.189 million US dollars, up 4.28%, 7.19% and 5.59% respectively compared with the same period last year.

 

In recent years, the rapid development of canned fruit in Lianyungang area, the export volume has been in the forefront of Jiangsu Province. Lianyungang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in accordance with the working idea of "promoting the construction of local bases, appropriately quoting the extension base", promotes the work of the record base, which provides a strong guarantee for the control of the source of canned food safety. At the same time, the use of raw materials and accessories and additives in canning production is strictly controlled, and strict supervision and management is carried out in the whole process from the acceptance of raw materials and accessories to the finished products. In order to make full use of local agricultural resources and strive for more real estate and food exports to earn foreign exchange, Lianyungang Bureau actively helps canning manufacturers to develop new products and open up new markets.

 

The above measures have greatly enhanced the production capacity of export cans in Lianyungang area, effectively controlled and guaranteed the safety and hygiene quality of export canned products, enhanced the competitiveness of products in the international market, and laid a solid foundation for the increase of export volume of canned goods in Lianyungang area.
