From January to February 2016, China exported 48,000 tons of canned oranges, amounting to nearly 50.14 million US dollars, with an average unit price of US$1035 per ton. Compared with the same period of last year, the quantity decreased by 20%, the amount decreased by 19%, and the average price remained basically the same. During this period, China exported more than 1,000 tons of canned oranges to the United States, Japan, Germany and Canada, of which 29,000 tons were exported to the United States, accounting for 59% of China's total export of canned oranges.
In February 2016, China's total export of canned oranges was 23,000 tons, down 9% year-on-year and 22% year-on-year.
From February 2016, of the 13 provinces and cities that export canned oranges in China, Zhejiang, Hunan, Fujian, Hubei, Shandong and Shanghai export more than 1,000 tons, of which Zhejiang exports more than 30,000 tons, accounting for 62% of the total export of canned oranges in China.
