Mushrooms are deadly to humans, pets appear in Colorado yard.
According to the Colorado mycology Association, Colorado mycologists discovered a deadly mushroom on the grass lawn at the weekend.
According to the Denver botanical garden, a rare destructive fungus in Colorado was found only eight times in the state, and was always on the south side of Castle Rock.
The mushrooms are pure white, with smooth stems and caps. According to the Colorado mycology society, there are corms on the stem base and annular membranes at the top.
"The most important feature is a cup of gunny sack burying on the ground," according to the society.
Mushrooms look very similar. They are called sweaters, and there are no bulbs on the base.
The mushroom poison will attack after consuming the liver, and symptoms usually appear in a few hours. Touch is not dangerous. According to the Colorado mycology Association, it is also a threat to humans.
Linnea Gillman, the former chairman of the group, holds a master's degree in mycology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She said that mushrooms might have an oak in any yard.
"We don't want to turn people into molds, because many people are afraid of mushrooms, and deadly mushrooms are still rare in Denver." She said. "But everyone should know that the angel of destruction is now found in Denver."
Gillman and other experts from the Denver botanical garden Fungus Association confirmed that mushrooms found in Aurora yard were indeed fatal. Mushrooms will be preserved in the herbarium for further study.
