Recently, Guangzhou police arrested seven Gang suspects with Lin Mou as the first one, and found more than 9,000 cans of counterfeit food, worth about 110,000 yuan. It involves many famous international brands such as "DelMonte" and "Heinz".

 

Some counterfeit goods are exported from Guangxi.

 

In April this year, the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau Food and Drug Crime Investigation Detachment received a report that a group of people, led by Lin Mou, set up counterfeiting nests in the area of Jiangxia Village in Baiyun District to process counterfeit "DelMonte" and "Heinz" cans for a long time.

 

Police investigation found that Lin Moucheng (male, 33 years old, Lufeng Guangdong) set up three counterfeit nests in Baiyun District, two of which are labeling nests, the other is a warehouse for packaging materials, three of a total of six workers, their products are sold throughout the country.

 

In addition, they also sent some cheap cans and counterfeit trademarks to Guangxi, Hunan and other places for local criminal gangs to manufacture and sell. A gang in Guangxi, headed by Xu Mooming (a 45-year-old male from Lufeng, Guangdong Province), has even shipped counterfeit cans overseas for sale.

 

Twenty thousand cans of counterfeit cans for two years

 

In early October, it was the corn harvest season, canned production and sales also increased, Lin's nests are working overtime. On Nov. 2, Guangzhou police forces divided into three routes, all the way to Changsha overnight to intercept goods, all the way with the police in Guangxi, Hunan and other places directly attacked the nests involved, the third way in Baiyun District Jiangxia Village nest point ambush.

 

At about 3:00 p.m. that day, the police picked up Lin's three counterfeit nests, arrested Lin and seven other suspects, and seized more than 8000 cans of counterfeit "DelMonte" canned corn and other food. At the same time, Xu Muming, the No. 2 principal criminal, was successfully captured in Guangxi, and 162 boxes of counterfeit "DelMonte" sauce shipped by Lin Mucheng were intercepted in Changsha, totaling 972 cans, worth about 30,000 yuan.

 

After preliminary examination, the gang began to manufacture and sell counterfeit canned food in 2011, and has produced about 20,000 cases.
