In the first quarter of 2017, 1241 tons of canned green beans were exported from Zhangzhou Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine, with a value of $885,000, an increase of 51.7% and 53.1% over the same period last year, respectively.

 

 

 

According to the analysis, the main reasons for the substantial increase are as follows: First, canned mushroom and other large varieties have been expanded from Southeast Asia to Europe, America and the Middle East due to the reduction of raw materials, more processing enterprises and intensified industry competition. Canned mushroom enterprises actively develop new products and open up new markets. Secondly, canned green beans are made of dried products, which can be produced in all seasons. The process is simple and the labor demand is low. Many advantages promote the increase of production enterprises. At present, eight or nine canned green beans enterprises have produced canned green beans.
