According to statistics, in 2016, Zhangzhou Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine inspected and exported 2584 batches of canned aquatic products, weighing 75,560 tons and worth US$121 million, an increase of 12.7%, 8.7% and 5.8% over the same period. Under the circumstances of weak international market and shrinking external demand, Zhangzhou's export of canned aquatic products maintained a steady growth, with the export volume exceeding 70,000 tons for the first time in history.

 

 

 

Over the past year, Zhangzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has been actively building a fast customs clearance channel, giving full play to the advantages of technical information, cultivating new competitive advantages of export canned products, and promoting adverse growth of export aquatic canned products industry.

 

 

 

First, we should promote the new mode of legal inspection of export canned products and create a fast access to customs clearance. Promote the new mode of export canned legal inspection reform, which takes risk management as the core, product risk monitoring and production enterprises'self-inspection and self-control as the grasp, and combines whole-process supervision with key spot inspection. Improve the self-inspection and self-control management system of production enterprises through legal inspection reform. For qualified export canned aquatic products, self-inspection and self-control as required. Practice is instant reporting. The reform of legal inspection has greatly improved the speed of customs clearance. According to preliminary calculation, export canned goods can save 8-10 days of customs clearance time.

 

 

 

Two, create a new platform for information technology to achieve effective information supply. Two public service platforms, Wechat Group and "China Canned Food Quality and Technology Information Integrated Service Platform", were established to provide information services such as inquiry of domestic and foreign regulations and standards, issuance of risk early warning information, third-party certification, technical and policy consultation for personnel training. By building the above two service platforms, Zhangzhou Bureau has realized effective information supply for export canned enterprises, and provided great help for enterprises to break through the technical barriers of relevant countries.

 

 

 

Three, strengthen training and improve the quality management level of enterprises. Training courses for key positions (sealing and sterilizing) of export canned products enterprises in Zhangzhou, FDA regulations in the United States, HACCP regulations in the European Union, and HACCP theory and application were held. Through training, we can further improve the practical operation ability of key positions in enterprises and improve the quality management level of enterprises.
