According to Miss Xu, the director of the Longevity Street Community Foundation, which is responsible for the Food Bank project, Longevity Community gives free aid to poor families and elderly residents, especially the widowed and elderly, in the form of "sharing refrigerators" to waste or surplus food in the community.
