Fujian is a big province exporting food and agricultural products. The annual export of food and agricultural products under the jurisdiction of Fujian Inspection and Quarantine Bureau amounts to 2.3 billion US dollars. Especially, the export volume of canned food, aquatic products, vegetables, tea, oranges and other products ranks first in China. Since 2008, according to local conditions, Fujian Bureau has explored and constructed demonstration zones for the quality and safety of agricultural products for export in key areas, and achieved certain results.

 

I. main practices

 

First, strengthen communication and coordination, and promote local governments to implement the overall responsibility for product quality. Fujian bureau put forward the suggestion of establishing a demonstration area for the quality and safety of agricultural products for export in Fuzhou, Sanming, Ningde, Nanping and Quanzhou, focusing on eel, large yellow croaker, poultry, tea and orange. The suggestion was strongly supported by the Fujian government, and Ye Shuangyu, vice governor of Fujian Province, gave important instructions on it.
