Sri Baja Bay City News: Brunei Health Ministry recently ordered the recall of two kinds of food imports from Australia from the Brunei market.

 

According to Brunei media reports, the two kinds of food problems are a concentrated potato soup canned from Jinbao Soup (Australia) Co., Ltd. and Bulla brand "Cookies and Cream" ice cream imported from Regal Co.

 

The Ministry of Health in Brunei said that Jinbao Soup (Australia) Limited had announced a recall because of the possible presence of black rubber in a batch of the canned potato soup concentrate. Regal decided to recall a batch of ice cream that had been printed with the words expired on Oct. 6, 2010, because of the possibility of plastic residue in one of the products.

 

The Ministry of Health in Brunei said it had asked importers and distributors of the two products to recall them from the Brunei market and hand them over to the authorities for destruction. (finish)
