California wants food producers to add bisphenol A warning labels

Bisphenol A in canned and bottled food and beverages was issued by the Environmental Health Hazard Assessment Center of the California Environmental Protection Agency on December 2, according to the California government website.

The government of California indicated that the current regulations remain valid until December 31, 2016. Since 2018, warning information has been added to canned and bottled food and beverages containing bisphenol A.
