Crider Inc. has recalled a canned organic chicken breast because of foreign matter, according to the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) on October 25.

 

 

 

The recalled canned chicken was named Wild Planet Organic Smoked Chicken Breast, totaling 1,496 cases, produced on January 16, 2016, with a 5-ounce specification and shelf life until January 16, 2018. USDA inspecting enterprise code is "EST. 31812". Products are sold to multiple distributors.

 

 

 

At present, consumers have received two complaints about eating foreign bodies. One of them was injured after eating products.

 

 

 

The USDA advises consumers not to eat canned chicken with problems, but to throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
