A few days ago, the seventeenth China International Food and Beverage Exhibition ended in Shanghai. The Autonomous Association for Export Control and Coordination (EACCE) under the Ministry of Agricultural and Ocean Affairs of Morocco brought 11 Moroccan food enterprises to the exhibition for the fifth time, and brought with it products such as olive oil, condiments, canned fish, candy, tea and so on, which had a strong Moroccan characteristics.

 

 

 

Morocco is located at the northwest end of the country. Its climate is diverse and its products are rich. It enjoys the reputation of "North African garden". Especially the fishery resources are extremely rich, sardine export ranks first in the world, and is the largest fish producing country in Africa.

 

 

 

Rajae LOUARRADI, EACCE marketing manager, said that in 2008 and 2009, the Moroccan government launched the "Green Morocco Plan" and "Halieutis Fisheries Development Plan" to promote the development of agriculture and fisheries. "China's market is huge and its concept is open. It is Morocco's most important export market." LOUARRADI said. This exhibition is also to learn more about the tastes and preferences of Chinese consumers, explore new markets, and try to "customize" new products for the Chinese market in the future, looking for more opportunities for cooperation.
