Since this year, the Bureau has exported 1360 batches of products from Brazil, Chile and Argentina to South America, an increase of 8.54% and 2.64% respectively. Among them, canned food in Xiamen accounts for half of the total, including canned mushrooms, canned aquatic products, canned corn and bamboo shoots, and so on, and is favored by the people of Latin American countries.

 

 

 

It is reported that China has become the largest trading partner of many Latin American countries. According to statistics, in 2015, China-Latin America bilateral trade amounted to 236.5 billion US dollars, accounting for about 6% of China's total foreign trade. The first three quarters of 2016 were US $161 billion 500 million, down 10.5% from the same period last year. President Xi Jinping recently attended the APEC summit in Peru and is confident that the level of bilateral trade and investment cooperation between China and Latin America will be further enhanced.
