In recent years, canned mushroom has become the export star of Henan Province. It has sold well overseas, promoted the transformation and upgrading of agricultural products, and led to the growth of edible mushroom exports year on year. According to Zhengzhou Customs data, in the first half of this year, mushroom cans in Henan Province were exported to 33 countries and regions, such as Vietnam and Korea. The total value of foreign trade reached 770 million yuan, double the year-on-year increase, exceeding the export value of 600 million yuan in the whole year of last year, and directly led to an increase of 81% in the export of edible fungi.

"This shipment is destined for Russia. We recently signed an order for 50 containers with Russian businessmen, with an export value of nearly 50 million yuan."

 

By exporting canned mushrooms alone, the annual foreign trade volume reaches 300 million yuan, with customers from more than 10 countries in Europe, West Asia and Southeast Asia. In Henan, there are more than 20 foreign trade enterprises that go abroad through canned mushrooms like this.

 

Compared with dried mushroom products, canned mushroom preserves the nutritional value and crisp taste of mushroom to the greatest extent. It is more convenient to open instant food. After it was put into Korea, Hong Kong and other places in 2015, it became very popular. Canned mushroom, as an innovative product, is more in line with the high-quality demand of the international consumer market. With the rapid growth of export scale, it will gradually replace dried mushroom products and become the most important export agricultural products in the province.
