The food and beverage industry of organic food has increased the demand for tomatoes

Byodo, an organic fruit and vegetable producer in Germany, is seeking to expand its export production with the aim of exporting 10% of its output in the next few years.

In Germany, the organic food trade show (Biofach) in Nuremberg, the company told SUCCESS FOOD today that the demand for its tomato products has been promoting its domestic business abroad, and that it can be copied to foreign markets.

"As a first step, we will be aimed at European countries. We have already sold in Austria, Switzerland, Sweden and Singapore, "said Lucia Neudecker, marketing manager of Byodo. "We will first seek to increase our presence there, and then reach out to the adjacent market."

At present, Byodo mainly serves the German market, and exports account for only 3 - 4% of its total output. It has set an export target of 10% of its output and will be realized in all the lines in the next 5-10 years.

Its portfolio includes tomato sauce, tomato paste, thick sauce, peeled whole tomatoes and tomato Dickens, mainly for catering and catering customers. These are 1.5 kilograms, 3 kilograms, 5 kilograms of canned, although ketchup also has 500ml glass bottles and ketchup, 130 grams of tubes are sold in retail.

All raw materials for tomato production line are purchased and processed in Italy.

At the Biofach exhibition, Byodo announced its new ketchup packaging series, each containing 10 kilograms of bagged bags.

"The catering and kitchen industry will be interested in this product, as well as manufacturers such as sauce, seasoning and soup products," the spokesman said.

In addition to managing tomato products, Byodo also produces organic spaghetti, high-quality food and sauces, cooking oil and snacks.
