Suining is a concentrated production area of canned meat in Sichuan province. At present, Suining has four canned export enterprises. Since 2007, due to the fluctuation of pork prices and insufficient domestic and foreign demand and other factors, the traditional export market has gradually shrunk, and the export volume of pork products in Suining has fallen sharply.

 

How to solve the problem of pork export and serve the local economy? Suining, as the national modern animal husbandry demonstration area and the largest green pig production base in China, has unique green advantages. After focusing on the key points, Suining tightly around the "green Suining" development strategy, promote the establishment of Chuanshan export pork quality and safety demonstration zone, comprehensively enhance the regional characteristics of product quality and brand image, and strive to transform resource advantages into export advantages.

 

Through the unremitting efforts of nearly three years, Chuanshan District won the title of provincial-level agricultural product quality and safety demonstration area and national-level demonstration area continuously in 2013, and became the first national-level export pork quality and safety demonstration area in Sichuan Province. The establishment of the demonstration area marked the further standardization and standardization of the pig breeding industry in Suining, the further improvement of the breeding environment and the safer control of agricultural inputs.

 

At present, the demonstration area has successfully established two ministerial-level standardized demonstration farms, four provincial-level standardized demonstration farms, two provincial-level specialized cooperative demonstration cooperatives, nine pollution-free livestock products and two green foods, and one export food producer has been registered with Singapore AVA.

In order to make these enterprises build smoothly and meet the export requirements, Suining set up the whole process of intervention, from the construction of specifications, plant layout, workshop conditions, system establishment and other aspects of detailed guidance, and strive to promote enterprise software and hardware to meet the requirements of export filing. At present, 3 enterprises are building smoothly and are expected to be put into operation in the year.
