Heze Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau introduced that since this year, Heze Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has made great efforts to promote trade facilitation, improve the quality and safety of import and export products, and strive to make inspection and quarantine the most convenient and fastest link in foreign-related economy.

 

This year, the "Heze forest products demonstration zone" passed the AQSIQ on-site assessment. At the same time, Heze Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has simplified the filing procedures and facilitated the export release of enterprises in two "national demonstration zones for the quality and safety of food and agricultural products for export" of Juye and Chengwu. Among them, Heze fresh-keeping garlic filing enterprises increased by 38.5% year-on-year, cooked poultry for the first time "knocked" the door of the European Union, the jurisdiction of garlic exports to New Zealand to complete the EU TRACE system registration.

 

With the support of effective policies, Heze now accounts for 50% of the country's export of canned asparagus; Peony Seedlings export ranks first in the country; garlic export ranks second in the country; woodland willow, mutton, sausage, fur clothing export ranks first in the province; rabbit meat export ranks second in the province; fruit export has become a new growth point.

 

Intercepted foreign pests in imported timber doubled two times.

 

This year, Heze entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau has stepped up import control. The number and species of pests intercepted by imported epidemics increased significantly, and the number of foreign pests intercepted in grain, fur and wood increased by 53%, 18% and 200% from January to October. Three pests, black sorghum and Polygonum arbusculum, were intercepted for the first time, and short body nematode was intercepted from imported wooden packaging for the first time.

 

Implementing process reengineering to reduce enterprise cost substantially

 

It is reported that since this year, Heze Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has adopted measures such as setting process time limits to implement process reengineering for export inspection and quarantine, realizing immediate reporting and release, and reducing the manpower and time investment. According to the calculation of the enterprise, the average inventory period of each batch of goods is shortened by 7 days, and the cost of each ton of products is reduced by 50 yuan. The annual export of 30,000 tons of goods can save 1.5 million yuan.

 

In the export of animal and plant products, Heze Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has innovatively implemented the semi-finished product fumigation and quarantine treatment mode, allowing enterprises to fumigate semi-finished products which are not suitable for fumigation materials on the premise of good epidemic prevention, thus shortening the process and shortening the original 48 hours to less than 4 hours or even 10 minutes. It increases the flexibility of the production enterprises, improves the production efficiency of the production enterprises, and reduces the production, storage and transportation costs of the production enterprises.
