Recently, Xiamen Dongdu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau released a batch of self-frozen albacore tuna through inspection and quarantine. The catch was then sent to a food processing plant for processing and canning. The tuna total of 82 tons, valued at 1 million 230 thousand yuan. This is the first high value self catcher product that has been released for the first time in the past ten years.

 

 

 

There are generally two modes of self-fishing transportation for the imported Pelagic Fisheries at Xiamen Port, one is by refrigerated vessels, the other is by refrigerated containers. And refrigerated container transportation is more convenient for different modes of transportation, which can effectively improve customs clearance efficiency and reduce logistics costs. It is understood that with the increasing domestic market demand, the increasing shortage of domestic aquatic resources and Xiamen City has formulated a number of policies to support pelagic fishing and other favorable factors gradually emerged, the prosperity of pelagic fishing, resulting in a large number of pelagic self-fishing.

 

 

 

In 2013, Xiamen decided to develop the pelagic fishery which had been stagnant for more than 10 years. Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau responded quickly and followed up with a series of supporting measures. The establishment of a special ocean-going self-fishing management norm simplifies the inspection procedures, exempts the attachment of official overseas aquatic products hygiene certificates, certificates of origin, only valid certificates of qualification, etc. In the principle of possible risk, reference to domestic cargo management, exempts the identification inspection, only shows the basic information. At the same time, take the initiative to communicate actively, contact the cargo owner in advance to understand the implementation of the goods, formulate a regulatory plan in advance, so as to achieve "special inspection, ship berthing arrival, immediate boarding", the sample is delivered immediately, reduce the delay time of the goods. From January to September this year, a total of 26 groups of mainland pelagic self-fishing from Xiamen port, weighing 6,481.92 tons and worth 5,467,500 US dollars, increased by 38.54% and 93.14% respectively.
