From January to April 2016, the export of canned goods from Zhangzhou to the United States was 4,978.4 tons and $4,742,000, up 43.2% and 59.7% respectively. In the global economic downturn, the trend of growth has been greatly increased.

 

 

 

Zhangzhou Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine has taken a number of measures to promote the export of canned goods to the United States. On the one hand, it actively recommends enterprises to register with the outside world, holds training courses on American federal regulations and foreign registration standards, organizes experts to guide enterprises on the spot to carry out hardware facilities renovation, helps enterprises to improve quality and safety system documents, qualified enterprises and At present, there are 14 registered enterprises in Zhangzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.

 

 

 

On the other hand, it helps enterprises to set up self-inspection and self-control program from source to finished products according to the requirements of US regulations, strengthens export sampling inspection and Conformity verification according to the results of risk assessment, effectively guarantees the quality and safety of products exported to the United States, and actively guides enterprises to successfully pass the official inspection of the United States FDA. Since 2010, Zhangzhou has strengthened the inspection and Conformity verification of products exported to the United States. A total of 11 enterprises in the district have successfully passed the official FDA inspection in the United States 16 times.

 

 

 

The bureau also carried out the reform of the inspection mode of export cans, only a small number of export cans with hidden dangers for export sampling inspection, for enterprises to self-inspection and self-control qualified export cans according to the requirements of the implementation of immediate release, to achieve zero waiting for customs clearance.
