In the first 11 months of 2010, Zhangzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (QSIQ) exported 1.056 billion US dollars of agricultural products, an increase of 39.18% over the same period of last year. The annual export volume reached a record high, exceeding the previous record of 983 million US dollars in 2008. Major agricultural products such as canned food, aquatic products, fresh vegetables, seedlings, flowers and so on have all reached a record high. Canned exports amounted to $391 million, an increase of 47.36%, aquatic exports of $172 million, an increase of 79.53%, fresh vegetables exports of $60,673.1 million, an increase of 70.76%, and seedlings and flowers exports of $32,944,000, an increase of 52.28%.

 

Since 2010, the Zhangzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau has promoted the export of agricultural products in the area through three measures. First, we should strengthen quality work and improve the quality of export products. Other enterprises find out the gap, actively rectify and improve the overall quality level of the industry; issue 33 issues of "Inspection and Quarantine Information Circular" to guide enterprises to organize and adjust production according to foreign standards in a timely manner; hold 8 quality management and technical training courses for enterprises, train nearly 600 personnel to help enterprises effectively improve quality Management level and product quality. The two is to innovate the working mode and improve the level of export agricultural products protection services. Summary meetings on "regional linkage management" of honey pomelo and asparagus shoot bases were held respectively to summarize the successful experience and shortcomings of the "regional linkage management" model, put forward measures to further optimize management, and introduce GAP management certification for the first time; guide aquatic export enterprises to establish an effective management mechanism of aquaculture source and the whole process. The program quality control system can effectively ensure the quality and safety of export aquatic products, and help six export aquatic products and canning enterprises to pass the FDA, Vietnam, Japan and other foreign official inspection smoothly, and track and analyze the inspection situation in the whole process, providing a reference for enterprises to deal with foreign official inspection in the future. Three, we should strengthen Customs clearance services and increase the speed of customs clearance of export products. Deepening the standardization of power operation, setting strict deadlines for the completion of all work links, effectively improving work efficiency; comprehensively promoting electronic supervision of enterprises, relying on information-based means, to realize the electronic inspection and quarantine work of enterprises, such as inspection, examination, batch inspection, etc., and to achieve more than 90% of the inspection and approval from the original needs of two or three.
