Recently, the State Administration of Quality Supervision and Inspection (AQSIQ) announced the results of a national spot check on frozen pork, cooked meat products and canned meat. A total of 419 kinds of products produced in 18 provinces and municipalities, including Beijing, were checked. 409 kinds of products were qualified, and the qualified rate was 97.6%. 5 unqualified products were exposed.

 

 

 

In this spot check, the qualified rate of frozen pork sampling is 97%. The main problem found in the spot check was that the water content exceeded the standard. Seven kinds of pork exceeded the requirement of 77%, and the highest water content of pork reached 83.4%.

 

The qualified rate of cooked meat products was 98%. Among the 101 samples examined, 3 items of doxycycline, oxytetracycline and clenbuterol were all qualified. There are 2 kinds of unqualified products, 1 kinds of sulfonamide exceeding standard, and 1 kinds of lead exceeding standard.
