Food safety experts from the State Administration of Quality Supervision and Inspection (AQSIQ) remind the people and rescue workers in the disaster areas to pay attention to the following safety issues when eating instant food such as biscuits, instant noodles and cans:
 
- Biscuits: Good biscuits have complete shape, clear pattern, fine structure, uniform thickness, no shrinkage, deformation, fine and uniform pores, easy to break by hand, no impurities. Poor biscuits frothy and rough, broken and stained. Some biscuits contain impurities and moldy.
 
Good biscuits should have the unique fragrance of the product, sweet and pure, crisp, odor-free, non-sticky teeth; Secondary biscuits taste tight, not crisp; Low-quality biscuits have fatty rancid salad taste.
 
Good biscuit surface, bottom, edge are uniform golden or grass yellow, the surface has a bright paste layer; Secondary biscuit color is not uniform, the surface is not bright, there is raw flour or flower, slightly different color.
 
Instant food: to check the ingredients list of the use of food additives; to check the appearance of products, instant noodles color is too yellow, instant rice noodles, instant rice noodles color is too white, etc.
 
Bottled drinking water: drinking water packaging bottles should be made of materials that meet the requirements of national standards, the bottle should be smooth, clear, high transparency, good texture. At the same time, squeeze the plastic bottle with your hands and check whether the bottle cap is well sealed. If there is water leakage at the mouth of the bottle, it indicates that the bottle cap is not well sealed and the drinking water may be polluted.
 
Qualified drinking water is generally colorless, transparent, clear, smelly, smelly, and has no naked eye. Natural mineral salts are allowed to deposit in drinking natural mineral water, but there are no other foreign substances. For products with discoloration, odor, turbidity, flocs or impurities, do not drink. After bottled drinking water is opened, it should be consumed as soon as possible.
 
Bread: sticky teeth, bad mouth, sour taste, mildew and other bad smell of bread can not be eaten.
 
Canned: For products packaged in glass bottles, there should be no foreign bodies in the bottles, the color of the cans should not brown, and the metal caps should be stainless. Products packed in metal cans should not be eaten with rusty products.
 
Don't eat canned products with "fat ears," which means you can see with the naked eye whether the outer package of the product is getting larger.
 
When canned fruits are eaten, the canned sugar and canned syrup should be distinguished. Sugar water canned sugar concentration is generally around 15%, which is more suitable for direct consumption. Sugar syrup can have high sugar concentration, more than 65%, only suitable for food processing.
 
The content of water and sugar in canned fruits is very high. When the canned fruits are uncovered, it is easy to cause a large number of microorganisms to propagate, causing rancidity and loss of edible value. After opening the lid, try eating once.
 
Cooked meat products: product packaging should be sealed without breakage. Do not eat raw meat products of unknown origin. If there is any peculiar smell, do not eat it if it smells bad. The meat products that have been opened are eaten as soon as possible.
