The Greek Canning Association (EKE) announced that the gross production of peaches (canned yellow peaches) was estimated to be 900 tons lower than the first forecast of 297,000 tons. Costas Apostolo, president of EKE, said Greek nectarine production this year was estimated at 296,100 tons, down 2% from last year's 320,000 tons.
